The Departments of Labor, Health and Human Services and Treasury (the "Departments") recently issued Interim Final Regulations (the "Regulations") on grandfathered health plans under the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act ("PPACA"). Grandfathering allows employers to continue health plans that were in existence on March 23, 2010 and exempts such plans from a number of PPACA provisions.
